Guidelines for preparing and submitting your manuscript

Submission Guidelines

The International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications (IJACSA) welcomes original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the fields of digital information and computational research.

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that you have carefully read and followed these guidelines. Manuscripts that do not conform to these guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision before being sent for peer review.

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • All submissions must be in English. Authors whose native language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts checked by a native English speaker before submission.
  • All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process.
  • By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have read and agree to our publication ethics and policies.

  • Figures should be submitted as high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Tables should be created using the table function in your word processor or using the tabular environment in LaTeX.
  • All figures and tables must be referenced in the text.

Submission Process

Online Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission system. First-time users need to create an account.

Submit Your Manuscript

Required Information

During the submission process, you will need to provide:

  • Manuscript title
  • Names and affiliations of all authors
  • Contact information for the corresponding author
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Manuscript category (Research Article, Review Paper, Case Study, etc.)
  • A list of potential reviewers (optional)
  • A cover letter addressing the editors

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo initial screening by the editorial team to ensure they meet the basic requirements. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for double-blind peer review, typically involving at least two independent reviewers.

The review process generally takes 4-6 weeks. Authors will be notified of the decision (accept, revise, or reject) along with the reviewers' comments. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on the reviewers' suggestions.

Publication Fees

IJACSA is an open-access journal that operates on a no-fee basis. There are no submission charges or article processing charges (APCs) for authors. All published articles are freely accessible to readers.

We believe that financial constraints should not hinder the dissemination of valuable research, and we are committed to maintaining open access to scientific knowledge without transferring the cost to authors.
